Euphoria

Euphoria is a place for melodic hardstyle.
A space where strong melodies, emotion and energy come together in one mix. Below you can find the story behind the project and the ideas that shape every episode.

About Euphoria

Euphoria started from a simple idea. I felt like there wasn’t really a place anymore where melodic hardstyle truly came together the way it used to. Over the years the sound has become harder and rougher, which is great in its own way, but for me something important started to disappear: the melody.

For me, melody is what made me fall in love with hardstyle in the first place. A good melody can bring energy, emotion and atmosphere at the same time. It’s what makes a track memorable and what gives it real feeling, not just impact.

That’s why I started Euphoria.
A place where melodic hardstyle comes first.

In every episode I try to bring together tracks that focus on strong melodies, whether they are softer, more atmospheric or a bit harder. As long as the melody is at the core of the track, it fits the idea behind Euphoria.

Another reason for starting the project is to stay closely connected to the music myself. It helps me discover new releases, find inspiration and keep exploring the sound that made me want to produce hardstyle in the first place.

At the same time I also want Euphoria to become a place where upcoming artists can be heard. Not every great track comes from a big name, and sometimes the most interesting melodies come from producers that are still finding their place in the scene. So I always keep an eye out for new artists and fresh sounds that deserve more attention.

In the end, Euphoria is simply about bringing melodic hardstyle together in one place. A space for powerful melodies, new discoveries and the sound that made hardstyle special to begin with.

What you’ll hear in Euphoria

Each Euphoria episode also contains a few recurring sections that give the mix its own identity.

Melody of the Month is a small moment in the mix where I highlight my favorite melody released that month. It’s a simple idea, but it’s a fun way to give a bit of extra attention to melodies that really stand out.

Melodic Memories is where I take a step back in time. Every episode includes a classic hardstyle track from the past. These tracks are part of the foundation of the genre, and it’s always amazing how well those melodies still hold up today. They often bring back memories and remind us where the sound originally came from.

From time to time there will also be a United by Euphoria guest mix. This is a space for other artists to share their music and their own interpretation of what Euphoria means to them. It’s a way to bring more people into the project and to give different melodic perspectives a place within the series.
